Job Summary – Senior Process Engineer
The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for process design, simulation, and engineering calculations for oil & gas and refinery projects. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in process modeling, piping systems, safety calculations, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Process Engineering & Design
- Perform process sizing calculations for:
- Equipment
- Piping systems
- Control valves
- Blowdown systems
- Pressure Safety Valves (PSV)
- Develop, review, and validate PFDs and P&IDs
- Carry out steady-state and dynamic process simulations
- Review vendor drawings, datasheets, and technical documents
- Interface with vendors and resolve engineering clarifications
- Prepare and review operating manuals and technical reports

Process Simulation & Engineering Software
- Aspen HYSYS
- UNISIM
- HTRI
- PIPE NET / PIPE SIM
- OLGA
- Pipeline Studio
- FLARESIM / FLARENET
✔ Strong experience in process simulation software is mandatory
✔ Dynamic simulation experience is a major advantage
Qualifications & Eligibility
- B.Tech / B.E or M.Tech / M.E – Chemical Engineering
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in:
- Oil & Gas Engineering
- Refinery Projects
- Petrochemical Design Consultancy
Candidates with only plant operations or R&D experience are not eligible.
