Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Technology transfer from R&D → Kilo Lab → Commercial Production
- Coordinate with R&D teams for demo batches and process understanding
- Prepare Basic Engineering Design Packages (PFD, P&ID, HMB)
- Equipment sizing, line sizing, and utility/process equipment selection
- Fitment of new API products in existing manufacturing facilities
- Evaluate equipment suitability for pilot and production-scale batches
- Process troubleshooting, optimization, and cost reduction initiatives
- Improve solvent recovery through distillation efficiency studies
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress and technical reports
- Supervise and guide Officers and Chemists
- Support API process improvement, scale-up, and commercialization
